Charles Mowat President / COO Charles Mowat serves as President of Lang Environmental, Inc., (LEI). Mr. Mowat is also a member of the Board of Directors. Currently, Mr. Mowat is responsible for overall corporation operations, primarily focusing on daily company operations. Mr. Mowat also concentrates on strategic planning and positions the company for future growth. Mr. Mowat brings a wide variety of experience to LEI, with a background in financial products, construction and property management. Mr. Mowat joined LEI in 1988. Prior to assuming the position of Vice President, he served LEI in varies positions including Foreman, Project Superintendent, Business Development Manager and Senior Project Manager. As Senior Project Manager his responsibilities included sales, project estimating, manpower allocation, schedule coordination, cost control and most importantly customer satisfaction. Mr. Mowat has extensive experience in commercial and industrial projects, during his employment at LEI he has completed over 600 projects ranging in price from $10,000 over $6.5 million. Mr. Mowat earned a BA in Public Administration from University of Florida, in Gainesville, Florida. He is licensed in the state of North Carolina as an Asbestos Contractor #48521. He also holds the following certifications; · 40 Hour Hazardous Waste Operation & Emergency Response OSHA 29CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(i). · Project Management and Supervision TSCA Title II/AHERA and NESHAP · Lead Abatement Training for Supervisor & Contractors OSHA 20 CFR 1926.62
